Ron, Up to you if you are intersted, but some points of note in general use, I had 4 years with the aircraft, flew probably 100 ish hours. 1 Build it light 2 Watch the flap alignment, we had one (left) slightly down so induced a small rolling moment right, we had to put a stop on the other to drop it slightly (no adjustment) 3 Get the door shoot bolts right, we had a door come off in flight because the passenger had only enguaged the front latch (I wasn't flying!) unbelievably sheared at the hinges and not a mark on the airframe. 4 Put thought into fuel system, we had a strong fuel smell that took ages to cure, eventually put another vent in the filler circuit. 5 Don't know if you have flown a Mono (I seem to recall you are building one) ground handling can be very lively - even a very slight downhill with no head wind is really exciting ! 6 We always had problems with cooling - especially over cooling in the winter, we went to Evans - it is very stable. 7 If you have an Airmaster - fantastic bit of kit, watch the brushes and the holder. We got an updated one because we couldn't open it to change the bushes, which incidentally lasted about 170 hours (outer wore the most) 8 Ventillation is poor. 9 Watch the doors in a wind / prop wash 10 Turning circle is not too good, one way is better than the other but can't remember which (prop wash assistance). 11 Dont raise the tail under 30 knots on take off. 12 Elevator fully aft / engine idle before you touchdown. Some hints if you are interested !! Tony.
