Hi Troy, It may not be black this year if they burn the grass a bit earlier?? Anyway, I will be surprised if you do not find heavy dew each morning. I use a water blade squeegee, see typical example at http://www.autogeek.net/california-water-blade.html and then towel it dry. If you want to minimise scratches on the plexiglass, you can always rinse with water first. However, I use a cockpit cover which keeps the glass clean. Bruce makes nice covers and I have the plain cockpit version - good quality. http://www.aircraftcovers.com/index.php?cPath=1_5_248_249&tplDir=fallback I will probably go down to SNF a little early as I will be returning on the Friday. One of the things I wondered about is what do folks take along to get the black Florida dust off the plane so it can look its best. One needs to avoid scratching the windscreen and the paint. Is it just a matter of getting water to it in a jug or is there a preferred commercial cleaner that can be sprayed? ACS has so many options it is mind boggling. Any wisdom from those who've done it? I know this won't be my only question about the trip. Troy
