Drag the aircraft back into the hanger and start looking under neath. Brake fluid on the tire. It's coming from somewhere.

Went back to the administration building, had a Diet Coke and visited the head (loo, WC) before starting back to Denton. No pictures on the return flight. The haze cut the visibility down to around 10 miles. Just too gunky for pictures.

Started the engine and let it run a bit and settle down. Started looking for signs of a leak. Took a bit, but finally found some coolant drops.

This is the last picture because things really started to get rough with thermals pushing up at 750 fps followed by down 750 fps along with 30ยบ bank and heading excursions that lasted till I reached KDTO.

Flew the aircraft once around the pattern and checked for leaks again. Nothing. Went back out and flew circuits for a bit more than an hour. Very rusty on the landings. Need a couple more hours of practice. Still, it's good to be flying again!

Look in the wheel well and at first all looks OK. Closer look reveals a drop of fluid on the connector to the 90 on the bottom of the master cylinder. Put a wrench on it and it is loose. Tightened it.

2010 01 24 Went to the hanger to work on the coolant leak. Pulled the aircraft out, chocked it and tied the tail to the fence.
