Practice makes perfect and I soon have the other seven knocked up.
Redux potted around the edge of the washers to avoid fixing the bolt, then when half-cured a twist on the bolts to make sure contact is good. Once fully cured they seem to be pretty well fixed and more important- all eight bolts still turn.
