Not going to use supplied rudder horn clips, but instead threaded connectors.
I read factory newsletter (think 25) where someone had clip open and they recommended to bend them closed tighter than supplied. I tried it and didn't like it very much.
Tried recommended shackles, and although they would work with a cable thimble, no way will they work with a turnbuckle fork, the throat is not deep enough. I would have incline milled a beautiful deeper throated shackle if the threaded connector didn't work out.
