Anti door warping 9.

Since we have 4130 chrome moly roll bar just aft of door rebate, installing a ball pin for outboard piston attachment would be a bit ackward requiring mutilation of front flange and drilling and tapping of rollbar. Also ball pins even though they are metal ones, are not all that strong. Descided to go with stainless eye and a stainless fork made of 304L stainless and attach to bottom of fuse strut channel with two AN525 screws. This will also be anchor for 1 side of springs. Machined a 1/2" ID 1 screw collar to .5925" ID and it will be attached to cylinder. Idea is a wedge with other side of spring attached to it will ramp aluminium collar outboard and off load door horn. The ramp will slide and will be observable with portion of door seal removed for adjusting position of collar.
Initial thought is there will be a side load on strut of ~ 20 lbs momentary and will be off loaded once door is closed and collar is in nest. Door will push and achieve final movement into nest so there is little to no side loading of strut.
My calculation is ramp will be about .500" long with a total movement of .175", thats a 2.8 to one mechanical advantage. Thus if strut was creating 45lbs of pressure, 16lbs side load would be needed, plus friction loading. I think my ramp will be closer to a 3 or higher slope so 20lb side load I think is a reasonable assumption.
