Spar clamp that allows a little fore and aft movement

The aft cable attachment self aligning pillow block allows the cable to articulate to accommodate more deflection than the cable has the ability to do so when following the arc of the flap cross tube horn.
Whenever the cable moves up or down, the length will change.
In other words, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. If you make the distance a curve, it will shorten things up a bit. If you straighten out a curve to a straight line, it lengthens a bit.
Wayne came up with the idea of slotting an Adel clamp mounting screw hole.
Here's my execution.

Update:
Y13-12-11
After cycling the push-pull cable mounted with 1 screw holding the aft cable bracket and 1 screw on the forward cable bracket mounted to a temporary piece of .090 aluminium (captured by the brake master cylinder) we determined we only need two clamps, one just forward of the seat back and one just forward of the fuel selector inspection hole.
Adel clamps do not slide on the cable, but plastic 2 screw clamps do. Thus will order up some from McMaster and try:

Y13-12-15 Update:
The Y13-11-27 idea will not be used.
See the next pic for the clamp/s we will use.
