A batch of Araldite 420 A/B was prepared and mixed with FLOX. The FLOX mix was applied to the door and the assembled latch plate was pushed into it. A clamp was used to hold the assembly in place while the epoxy cures. Excess epoxy mix was used to further bond the plate.
