I spliced lengths of wire into the cable for the altitude encoder. This was very time consuming as the cables were made up of two 2-conductor, shielded wires. The individual wires were 22 AWG size (VERY small). I hope it works. When it was done and attached, I tied it onto the existing cable bundles with cable ties.
