DSCN4772Ann

I used my drill set to determine the size of the openings in the fittings. The AN-4 is 5/32" (0.1562") and the hose barb is 15/64" (0.2344"). That makes the hose barb 50% larger than the AN-4. The cross-sectional area of the barb is 2.25 times that of the AN-4. Makes it highly unlikely that the AN-4 fitting would carry sufficient volume to feed the 914 at full power.
