It has been a real hand-full for me when it came to wheel landings. Symmetrical wing and full inverted systems. (No, I haven't been upside down yet. Later...) All mean that it needs at least 90 MPH over the fence on a wheel landing. That's faster than CRUISE on the Champs and Cubs I used to fly. It took many, many low passes & attempts to get used to that speed so close to the runway. Well, we finally made friends today. This afternoon, 8 excellent wheel landings. Good training for the Little Toot. Next week, we go fly off grass.
