2008 09 26 Spent the morning with the Garmin shop troubleshooting the Garmin GMA 340 Audio Panel. The unit is OK. The guy at Garmin thinks there are wiring problems. He printed a set of pages showing the pin-outs for the two connectors and asked me to make sure there was a pin in each hole there was supposed to be a pin in and no pin in the holes where no pin was supposed to be. I have commitments all day tomorrow so I plan to spend Sunday going over the pins. After all the other issues with Gulf Coasts work on this panel, it wouldn't surprise me if the pins were buggered up somehow. More on this Sunday...
