A hole had to be cut into the tailplane rip by the previous owner to remove excess redux from the factory build that was preventing complete insertion of the torque tube. This was done on europa technical authority. to close the hole disks of 4 ply composite where glued with redux over the holes and two plies of bid placed over the top.
