Now the bolt is removed from the leg/socket and the bolt hole greased and filled with a material which will prevent entry of any Araldite or epoxy. Bud used modeling clay (plasticine) for this purpose. The inside of the socket top is also well greased and a ring of clay pressed in there to prevent entry of bonding agents. It is absolutely necessary that the legs not become bonded to the sockets.
