Wayne cut out access holes, then taped the front, back and sides of covers after making them nice and round, then floxed them in place and laid up 3 thin model aeroplane plies of cloth to make a flange on the inside.
He cut 1" holes in layup to allow easier removal since we floxed the edges of hole to get a nice fit.
