This roof is 9' off floor, 12' ladder works well.
Pretty much using same technique as described above except have been also using 3M flowable finishing putty that is polyester plastic. Feather edges nice, see ~ page 3 under bonding top wingskin album.
Will also skim coat with Aeropoxy 458 before paint. Very thin resin with some fill and it cures in very thin applications and tends not to get amine blush. Kinda Cory Bird "light".
Anyway all the sanding that is going on coated the top of our 10' x 20' tent and not as much light is getting in as would like.
Hoist up vacuum on 12' ladder.
Well you can see that flap on left has plenty of JB on lead edge. Sanding on radius is far more time consuming than sanding flat areas. Since you are point loading at contact area you need to be very careful about sanding away your fiberglass. On flat areas you can put exorbanate amount of pressure and sanding goes nicely. On radius you need not very much pressure and a coordinated bias articulated stroke using eyechrometer/feel/straight edge to locate locate high spots and remove.
