I have attached a copy of the review I did for LAA/Europa of the options.
Since then I have obtained details of two more variations
>From Richard Collings and John Baker. If you would like these I will send
them direct to you.

As you know (ie SB15 issued) the decision was to glue the joint. After that
nobody was prepared to invest any time in developing a Europa fix.

I have a set of Bob Harrison's torque tube clamps - not fitted yet, so I
thought I 'd weigh them for you: about 300g each.
I think it's worth it but you may - reasonably I suppose - think
differently.

"Jewel Pee" works great! This reed valve engine can blow past 26,000RPM on a good day. On a bad day it can blow blood from arm, hand or finger/s all over creation!

After working on Cox Pee Wee .020 (next photo "Jewel Pee") making variable throttle exhaust restrictor, extended range tank and venturi feed, head heat sink and pusher thrust bearings, hand lapping most fits, and hand fitting piston/cyl clearance down to the .00001", making a fit for a few pins on Europa was not beyond realm. Still a pretty major effort. Don't want to let a machine or mechanical devise get the best of you. Understanding, persistance and effort can beat most uncooperative dilemas into submission. Don't let any one leg of this 3 legged stool from getting too long or short (Ideologue (Value), Demigog (Ambition) and Technicrat (Ability)) yields best chance of sucess!
