Now this is just "Plane" dumb. A Landing Sonar with a sliding tone plumbed into Audio that comes alive when tailwheel is off ground 6 feet and dies at 6 inches, absolute instant changes. The worst part, is after hearing about from Ferg Kyle, he is actually encouraging such nonsense! A few nights ago (10-29-07), Wayne's Dad brought over a tone generator and we chose range of tones, now he is hot on trail of tweaking and actual getting it working! Mount of transmitter and receiver will be just forward of mass balance tower. At least some guys will know what 6 inches is at their tail with eyes closed, need not be gay or in jail to do it!
