And hose got a teather with free twine. Didn't scuff sand and didn't trust bond. Drove a half mile and did a leak check after temp rose and missed a small hole, but that was not problem. Refilled and got car home but there is a bad leak somewhere else. Will check into after rain stops. Anyway good repair on broken radiator to get you home.

Update:
Thermostat was sticking closed causing overtemp. I purchased a new radiator that is sitting around now 2500 miles later! I am not running any pressure but repair only leaks a drop here and there. Have a tailwind with Europa build so this replacement may wait a while longer.

When forced in place, fillet did a nice job of contact on radiator that is a perfect fit.

I get a call when working on Europa that wife is stuck with high temperature indication on 1992 Volvo turbo wagon. I have her check and I know the radiator has a broken upper plastic nipple. Take with me some JB KWIK weld to rescue. Pick up a Coke, some twine and antifreeze on way from convienance store after dark on Sunday.

Cut up coke can with Swiss army knife and JB KWIKed inside broken off nipple, there is bout a 3/16" fillet betweem hose and aluminium.
