Trying not to mar flap cross tube too bad with Upstops 2 of 7

I turned down the OD from .500" to .425" and thinned the back side of the washer (couldn't face the outboard side because that's where the weld is) to ~ .050". I needed to thread the portion of the washer I removed to allow it to screw tight against my thinned nut (welded to the stud plate).

I didn't have any 9/16" Nylon 6/6, or I would have left the OD .500". I had .500" Nylon 6/6 laying around, so I turned down OD of screw to .425" (leaving .0375" of material outboard of Nylon 6/6 pocket).
