Mid door pin and striker for port door 5.

Drilled and tapped pin plate for 6-32 screws and drilled and countersunk door sill to hold plate in place. Here you see pin that just got JB KWIKED in place with door closed. Once cured will TIG weld pin in place using 308L rod. What I do is measure angles, then tack weld top surface of pin and plate not using any rod making sure angles are right. This holds in place perfectly the pin and heat from tacking softens the JB KWIK where it easily is removed. Then cut off remaining pin leaving bout 1/16" proud and TIG bottom using 308L rod.
