DSCF0721

The prior pic. is flipped upside down to give you the view that the Pedalee would see when pedaling.
I want to angle the Electrical Box with the Whatt Meter side down and the switch side up to not only give a better view for the Pedalee, but any water that happened upon the face would be more likely to run off instead of making it's way into the Volt Amp Meter.
There's about a 20% discrepancy with that of the Harbor Freight Meter when reading amps compared to that of the Whatt Meter.
I did hardwire directly to the Shunt using solder and probably lowered the resistance of the shunt somewhat. I will verify with a Fluke Meter.
There is a potentiometer inside the meter, but not sure what it's for (but will try to learn what it is for). None the less for under $4 all we need to do is put a correction placard on the Harbor Freight Meter, not unlike the Compass correction card on every flying certified aeroplane with a wet Compass.
The very important information the meter can provide is if the amps going to the battery is positive or negative. Then use the Volt indication to see when the battery is fully charged.
