Port door front hinge in perfect position, ready to make spacer to go between bottom of hinge and fuse.
The .100" spacer between leaves of hinge is positioned to replicate the screw head that will stand the bottom half of hinge away from the top half that will be in place holding the bottom half of hinge to fuse.
Remember the shoot bolts are engaged at this point that allows for effortless replication of registration so when door comes on and off tangs will be exactly in the same position once shoot bolts are engaged.
Could probably skip shoot hole and put registration blobs of goop in areas of door gap, but you would have to still deal with more flexing variations compared to tight fitting shoot bolts.
