Bud 1.
Coolant bottle fits on the flat part.
*wastegate servo, (do I want it located so I can watch function?), I prefer that. If on the firewall use a cover with an air inlet/outlet for cooling and make it easy for maintenance.
*intercooler purchased from John Hurst
Don't use them. I don't think it's really needed unless you intend to do high power flying always.
*oil tank
If you use the intercooler, put it on the pilots footwell.
*Ducati regulator
*LR3C regulator from B+C for SD20S alternator on vacuum pad.
*coolant bottle
See the photo's. The regulators usually go on the firewall just above the stud for the alternator feed going through the firewall. I use a Bosch 30 amp relay if there is swapping. See my website. I put the coolant bottle where it will fit.
Sometimes on the access panel through the firewall, other times on the footwell in any number of mounts. Lately guys want it on the passenger side so they can see it when checking the oil.

I really like the TCU and Servo on the footwell now.
*Matronics magic box to subtract one flowscan 201B from the other to drive UMA fuel flow gauge. (Transducers are located under my airbrake cover purchased from you) .
Where ever it will fit.
*VDO oil sender with an extra set of contacts to run Hobbs. I want to remote mount in hopes of getting reasonable life. Unit has brass dampening ring, if I remote mount should I get rid of the ring to save a little weight? Or, is it best to keep vibration down from remote mount?
I never used one. I let the Hobbs be on the bus circuit and pull a breaker its on, (usually an aux CB),
Sorry Ron but I have not had an oil sender failure. The Rotax brass ringed ones
come in two types one is grounded and the other is not. Non grounded has two
contacts, one ground one sender. If a sender fails it is usually the ground. It is
supposed to ground through the NPT pipe fitting, but sealants screw that up. Hose
clamps and a separate ground can work. Best to test why the sender failed. Too
many guys complain about failures, then put gook on their new sender and ruin the
ground.
I don't like remote mounting with lines that may fail. I have used an UMA sender
attached to the turbo line off the 914 using a new banjo bolt. I'm afraid I stick with the Rotax sender.
On Monowheel XS with per plans stainless firewall, do you recommend any sort of insulation for firewall or wheel wells? If yes what material? No. I just make sure it is tight and will not chafe fuel lines or throttle cables. I use rubber hose cut on one side to make a grommet.
**Note to clear electric motor and prop for gills.
