Boy, one aggressive work night by Alan and I!
We managed to:
**Remove weights and straight edges.
**Put away weights and straight edges and all the sticks under the wing including saw horses.
**Removed tape.
**Cleaned up oozed out Redux / Flox.
**Removed Lino from flap and aileron and cleaned up trail edge, then retaped and reinstalled Lino.
**Scuff sanded for 4 UNI layup.
**Scuff sanded the entire top of wing then cleaned up seam.
**Taped trail edge and forward seam, (both sides).
**Prepared cleco holes and crack in skin for layup.
**Prepared 2 thin model aeroplane plies of cloth for wingskin repairs and 2X, 3 thin model aeroplane plies of cloth for forward conduit covers.
**Wet out everywhere fill was going with Aeropoxy / 60 minute.
**Floxed seam where 4 UNI goes at root and also 2 cleco holes.
**Q-Celled cleco holes and all seams.
**Laid up 4 UNI on root and peel plied, UNI prepared from last June, (09), when we were ready to finish Port wing as soon as Starboard was finished. That was 15 months ago. Got slightly sidetracked.
**Layup 2 thin model aeroplane cloth on wingskin crack and wingtip cleco hole that got too large.
**Filled all seams and trail edge with nice, dry Expancel / Aeropoxy /60 minute, this went on top of plenty sticky Aeropoxy / 60 minute.
**Removed 3M 375 tape for nice clean lines and hopefully no water marks.
**Even emptied the overflowing garbage cans and took lots of pictures.
Whew!
That's the true measure of a good nights work, garbage and pictures.
