Look in the Europa Club Flyer Issue 46 to see David Watts ideas. We made
our cradle so the gear is extended. I've attached a couple of photos. The
layup on the fuselage is I think 8 layers of BID. Used some foam to make
the transitions and you can see the drain pipe and grates used for the
verticals. The basic frame is angle iron and 8" pneumatic tires from a
local cheepie discount store.
Hope this helps. Other idea to hold up fuselage is a simple stand on the
wheel frame. Terry Sever has an example on his website.
