Art dicing and sliced up a pair of trailer jacks (with wheels).
He cut off the pivot and moved it way up on the jack, then rotated 45 degrees to allow hand cranking without hitting your knuckles on the fuse while all the time not sticking out very far.
Also cut down the arm length to make a nice concise fit of things.
These jacks do pivot (they have a spring loaded detente pin), so they can be rotated making a smaller footprint when storing.
You see Art cleaning up the target area where the pivot bracket is going to be remelted (re-TIG-welded) to.
We purchased these I think off of E-Bay several years ago.
