In order to install sternpost and not scrape off too much Redux/flox, we used 3 spreaders.
*A piece of notched wood at aft side of T bar slot
*A small Craftsman clamp set up to expand to hold the top of fin apart just forward of where sternpost sits
*A small Craftsman clamp holding fin apart "aft" of where sternpost sits a little above fuse seam.
Can slip sternpost over seam clamp and get it close to position, then clamp removed.
Worked great.
