Airbus_320
Earlier in the day this Airbus 320 lost both engines when it injested some geese and landed in the Hudson river shortly after take off (think Lagurdia and ~3500 feet). It was warmer than that night, but not by much! No souls lost. I think worst injury was a flight attendent brok a leg. Ferry boats and rescuers there very quickly. Air turbine dropped down to allow control. Question is if Pilots chose "ditching" switch that seals off openings in airframe. See recovery sequence of this rather large bird brought down by two much smaller birds at end of this album!
