2009 03 16 - After a day of work on Toots, I went to the hanger to run the Rotax and check the charging voltage. For some reason, I pulled out the check list and decided to go over it in great detail before I did the engine run. Not sure why, but seemed like a good idea at the time. Came to the "Port Outrigger Down & Locked" part. This time I went around front to check it. Uh oh... The nut on the bolt connecting the OR4 to the OR5 was almost off! This was not a good thing. Bushing was out of place, things floating all over. Retrieved the 1/4" box-end and 3/8" box end wrenches and tightened it up.
