This motor is running well over 10,000RPM, the camera stopped it! When blades are folded frontal area is about size of a quarter and will have a nice fairing. Diameter here is 5.5" with a 4" pitch and weight of motor and prop is ~ 3oz. Running at 10 amps will yield a long life for this under 16$ motor. On real deal, will run blade tips at approx. 50 or 60% chord of widest part of prop, will probably end up with a 5" diameter perhaps a little less. Will probably fair in the wires to a single pylon. We removed stator ring, and will probably neutral or 5 degree advance the timing to allow happy reverse running. Bottom line is some folk will do about anything to take a break from filling and sanding!
