Tie-bar 26.
Port side
We clamped an aluminium U channel to the tie-bar, then placed on it a .045" aluniuium spacer that was taped with 3M 375 packaging, then JB KWIKed the wood bracket to the back of the cockpit module.
We used a two mixing stick gauge to space the wood bracket inboard from the front socket mounting screw.
The final dimension was under 1/2" between the inboard face of the inboard tie-bar socket to the outboard edge of the wood bracket.
