"Art"ifact.
Art has been busy working on the port insert.
The clock has 12 LEDs installed for illumination instead of the 1 bulb that was supplied, (worked poorly and got plenty hot). It ends up at full intensity of the LEDs, the passenger can get hit by the illumination in a bad way. So we have the 12 LED ring broken down to 4 quadrants with different value resistors. Works "great"! Anyway, it's the 5 wires going to the 6 pin connector on the right side of pic. Will try and get a shot of the innards of the clock lighting which is a custom machined thin G-10 ring with a piece of CF rod for wire strain relief which the LEDs are in the precise location to fit inside the clock along with resistors.
The two pin connector next to the 6 pin is for the two LEDs we installed to illuminate our custom slip indicator ball.
The blue wires are for the EL light wedges and the 6 white wires and one yellow are for the selector switch for 6 temperature indications on our ilec Variometer.
Red and green wire is power for Variometer.
The pneumatic switch on the right is for alternate static.
